Omega Gold + Super Shield Calf Milk Replacer is a high performance calf milk replacer that provides balanced nutrition for calves, resulting in high growth rates, improved health, and maximum bloom and condition. This 25kg bag is formulated for restricted bucket feeding, ad-lib feeding and automatic milk machines (not requiring free flow). Mix 150g powder/litre of warm water for 'once a day' feeding, 125g powder/litre for standard 'twice a day' feeding, and 150g powder/litre for accelerated 'twice a day' feeding. Ensure the mixture is at a constant temperature of 40°C by dissolving the correct weight of powder in ¾ of the amount of warm water, then adding more warm or cold water to achieve 40°C. Fresh, clean straw should be offered at all times to encourage concentrate intake and rumen development, and calves should be weaned when eating 1kg of Earlycare calf dry feed on 3 consecutive days and are seen to be cudding.
